The short answer

Whova does not publish prices. Its pricing page is a quote request form. Four of the questions it asks reveal what drives the number: event format, event length, expected attendee band, and how many events you run each year. Eventira publishes three plans: Solo at $999 per event, Pro at $2,499 a year for 10 events, and Premium at $4,999 with white-label, with attendee limits printed next to each.

What Whova says
Whova sells a mature, widely used attendee app, citing 50,000+ events across 170+ countries.
Their positioning, in our words
What that leaves out
None of that comes with a number. The pricing page is a form, and the price you are offered depends on answers you give about your attendee volume and event count before you see any figure at all.

The differences

Where they diverge

01

A form is not a price

Whova's pricing page collects your event format, duration, attendee band and annual event count before showing you anything. That is a pricing model designed around what you can afford.

02

Their questions are the pricing model

Asking for an attendee band and an events-per-year count tells you both variables move the number. Eventira publishes both up front: 500 attendees per event, ten events on Pro, $2 per attendee beyond.

03

The app is genuinely strong

Whova has won Event Technology Awards and cites 50,000 events across 170 countries. On attendee app maturity they have more history than we do.

04

Where we differ on principle

We think an Event Manager should be able to cost a year in a couple of minutes. That is a product decision as much as a pricing one.

Being straight with you

Who Whova is actually for

Organisers who want a mature, award-winning attendee app and are comfortable going through a sales conversation to get a price, particularly for a single large conference where the app experience is the main thing you are buying. Whova's track record is real and their attendee reviews are strong. Eventira suits you better if you want to know the annual cost before speaking to anyone, or if you are running several events a year and want them in one dashboard.

FAQ

Questions we actually get.

How much does Whova cost?
Whova does not publish pricing. Its pricing page is a quote request form asking for your event format, event length, expected attendee band and how many events you run each year. You receive a figure after submitting. Third-party sites quote various per-ticket and per-event figures, but none of those numbers appear on Whova's own page and we cannot verify them.
Is Whova cheaper than Eventira?
We cannot answer that honestly, because Whova does not publish a price. What we can tell you is Eventira's: $999 for a single event, $2,499 for ten events a year, $4,999 with white-label. If you get a Whova quote you will be able to compare directly.
Does Whova publish its ticketing fees?
Not on its pricing page. Several third-party sites quote a percentage plus a fixed fee per paid ticket, but we could not confirm those figures from Whova, so we do not repeat them as fact. Eventira charges no per-ticket fee. Ticketing integration is a $100 per event add-on.
What does Eventira publish that Whova does not?
Plan prices, attendee limits per plan, overage rates, add-on prices and support pricing, all on one page. Whova asks for your attendee numbers and event count before it shows you anything.
